Tribute to Father’s Day: Tony Townley, father of John Wes Townley has always played an instrumental role in the young rookies racing career and also happens to be his biggest fan. Tony is a visionary and along with childhood pal Zach McLeroy one of the “Founding Fathers” of Zaxby’s. When he isn’t enjoying time with his wife, three sons and daughter, Tony can be found taking in a good movie, fishing, hunting, or enjoying other outdoor activities. He’s a nice man, but not if you try to take a bite of his Zaxby’s Kickin’ Chicken Sandwich — it’s Tony’s absolute fave.
The Milwaukee Minute: John Wes Townley has one previous start at the Milwaukee Mile in the 2008 NCWTS Camping World RV Sales 200 for Roush Fenway Racing. Townley started the event in the 11th position and finished 18th.

Quoting John Wes Townley:
What are your expectations for this weekend’s event at Milwaukee?
“My expectations for this weekend aren’t any different from any other weekend. I want to go out there and learn as much as I can and do the best that I can. We have had a lot of bad luck on our side and it seems these days that if we didn’t have bad luck, we would have any at all. I have all the confidence in the world for my team and would like to prove to everyone what our true potential really is”.
